Statement of Purpose

The objective of the CIFAR Alliance is to strengthen the ecosystem for inclusive innovation in climate action for the equitable betterment of people, the planet, and prosperity for all. We aim to increase collective knowledge and expertise, catalyze partnerships, and enable brave innovators to grow, replicate, and scale for impact.
 

We recognize the critical importance of adaptation and resilience in enabling climate-vulnerable and low-income communities to not only survive but also thrive in the changing climate. By breaking down silos through our partnerships and driving comprehensive, collaborative solutions, we can achieve transformative change and create a more sustainable future for all.
 

The CIFAR Alliance will focus its efforts on building from the foundations of the Ecosystem Framework for Action, the Knowledge Resource Library, the TECA Venture Launcher collaborative, the Catalyst Fund for Climate Resilience, and other action enablers developed in the CIFAR Alliance ‘seed stage’ of development.
