The search for the next winners of The Earthshot Prize 2024 has begun!

CIFAR Alliance is an Official Nominator for the 2024 Earthshort Prize, the largest environmental prize in the world.

The Earthshot Prize is dedicated to finding and growing solutions that will repair our planet before irreversible damage occurs. Each year, 5 winners (one per Earthshot) will be selected by an Expert Advisory Council and awarded £1 million each to scale their solutions, along with incredible networking and mentorship opportunities.

The 5 Earthshots are:

Protect and Restore Nature
Clean our Air
Revive our Oceans
Build a Waste-Free World
Fix our Climate

The Earthshot Prize will consider solutions that make tangible progress towards one of the five Earthshots. These solutions should be beyond the idea stage, have tested their solution in-field or with target audiences, and are at a ‘tipping point’ for scaling their impact within the next five years.
